Health and Well-being

“Every child requires attention and deserves it. They deserve to be treated as a person.”

Our Health and Well-being Initiative

Our Health and Well-being initiative focuses on providing equitable access to health services, promoting adequate nutrition, and ensuring access to mental health services to promote healthy lifestyles. By focusing on these key aspects, it seeks to generate a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of vulnerable children.

Through this initiative, we seek to put health professionals committed to vulnerable populations at the service of children and families, to facilitate their access to quality primary health care services and address the most urgent health problems in the region, in addition to supporting them to adopt adequate eating behaviors and make use of the mental health services available at NPH.

Our Unique Approach

Primary Healthcare Program

NPH International provides essential primary health services to children in residential care and nearby communities, focusing on prevention, routine care, and timely treatment to support overall health and well-being.

Nutrition Program

NPH International addresses malnutrition by ensuring children receive balanced, nutritious meals that promote healthy growth, development, and the ability to learn and thrive.

Mental Health Program

NPH International supports children’s emotional well-being through counseling, therapy, and trauma-informed care, helping them heal, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills.

SUPPORTING THE UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Healthcare As a Human Right

Our Health and Well-being initiative promotes equitable access to quality primary health care, adequate nutrition, and mental health services by mobilizing health professionals to support vulnerable children and families. By addressing urgent health needs and encouraging healthy eating and use of available mental health services, the initiative aims to create a lasting positive impact on children’s overall well-being.
