Hello dear readers, it is a pleasure to address you. I am Elder Alexander Ajqui Canis, and I sincerely appreciate the opportunity given to me as a student. I wish to share my experience at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Guatemala, as well as my future goals.
Family Dynamics
Allow me to share a bit about my dynamics within my family. I am 14 years old and enjoy collaborating with my family in household chores, fulfilling my responsibilities as a son and student. I value family time; we often go out together to the park to enjoy nature, share a meal, and organize birthday celebrations to give each other small gifts. Occasionally, we watch a movie together. We attend church to dedicate time to spirituality and learn about the importance of values such as respect, honesty, loyalty, and patience. I reflect on what is wrong and how I can improve.
My Experience at NPH
My experience has been enriching, as I have acquired educational knowledge that is very beneficial. The way classes are delivered daily is a teaching that goes beyond mere instruction, explained in a fun and correct manner. My knowledge constantly improves, encompassing values and spirituality.
I appreciate the principles of Respect, Responsibility, Sharing, Love, and Tolerance promoted at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Guatemala. The workshops offered have allowed me to integrate new knowledge that will be useful in the future and help me know how to act in the face of daily difficulties, thus controlling my emotions and acting wisely, which is very valuable to me.
The educational center Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Guatemala has fostered in me aspects such as the importance of family and mutual support, transmitting valuable teachings left by its founder, Father William Wasson. I deeply admire Father Wasson for his tireless dedication to providing love, attention, and care to the most needy children; his vision and commitment to social justice have transformed lives, inspiring hope and creating a lasting legacy of solidarity and compassion.
While at the educational center, I have achieved significant accomplishments, improving daily in challenging areas and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
I am grateful to the institution for becoming my second home, providing me with safety and confidence to pursue my dreams. The mission and vision of NPH inspire me with their commitment to providing love and support to those most in need. I dream of a world where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential, live with dignity and hope.
Future Goals
One of my main dreams is to finish basic education so that I can start my career in graphic design. This career will test my skills and knowledge. I want to know what I am capable of and strive harder to learn what I do not know. I would like to attend university to become a great professional and practice my university profession. I want to apply my diversified career in order to gain experience and develop in what I love.
Once I have a good job position, I plan to buy land and build a spacious house so that I can have a home. I wish to support my parents in all aspects and of course help my sister when she is pursuing her professional training.
I admire my father for his tireless dedication, unwavering commitment to family, and constant effort to ensure our well-being; his actions, wisdom, and timely advice during difficult times are inspiring. My father always guides me through challenges with equal treatment.
His unconditional kindness and ability to forgive and love without reservations are qualities that I admire and aspire to imitate; moreover, his work ethic and determination are living examples of perseverance and success. In summary, I deeply admire my father for being a role model and a pillar of strength in my life.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for the scholarship that has been granted to me. I thank Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Guatemala for this great help; it not only alleviates a burden but also provides me with an invaluable opportunity to pursue my goals and dreams. I promise to dedicate myself diligently and responsibly using this opportunity to contribute positively to my education and community. The support they give me means so much to me, and I am sincerely grateful for their trust in my potential.
I am excited about the impact this scholarship has on my life and future.
