Michael Mccabe, Chief Executive Officer of NPH International

Mike McCabe is a globally recognized leader in child, youth, family, and community development with more than 35 years of experience leading transformative initiatives across more than 40 countries. As the new Executive Director of NPH International (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos International), he will oversee the organization’s global strategy, fundraising, partnerships, governance, financial management, and the delivery of high-quality programs in child welfare, education, healthcare, and community development across nine Latin American countries. His connection to NPH spans decades, beginning as a volunteer in Mexico in 1988–1989, and he and his wife have supported the organization as long-time sponsors for more than 30 years.

Throughout his career, Mike has held senior leadership positions with organizations including the Peace Corps, USAID, UNICEF, Creative Associates International, Youth Service America, and the Inter-American Foundation, in addition to founding Ignite Collective Leadership LLC. His expertise includes strategic planning, leadership development, partnership building, youth economic opportunity, and grant management, with a strong focus on creating lasting systemic change for children, youth, and families. Mike holds a Master of Public Administration from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University. He also serves as President of the Rotary Club of Washington Global and remains actively involved in supporting migrant families through his church community.
