Position Overview:
The Communications Assistant supports the Communications department with the content production needs in order to promote NPH initiatives that aim to build decent living conditions for children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean. He/she will be co-responsible for the communication and multimedia materials necessary to feed the different content plans, as well as national and international strategies. He/she will promote the correct use of the Foundation’s branding and general image.

Position Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have professional or academic experience in journalism, writing for various media platforms, photography, videography, and graphic design.
- Successful volunteers at NPH have a level of awareness of Human Rights, strong leadership skills and ease of interaction, are resilient, flexible and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Strong bilingual language skills in English and Spanish are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests English and Spanish language skills of candidates invited for interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of English or Spanish will be required to attend classes prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
