Position Overview:
Visitor Coordinators Assistant at NPH are responsible for planning and organizing visits to NPH and our different projects and programs. Through its visitor program, NPH receives both local and international visitors. These visitors may be sponsors or donors from the international fundraising offices or from local organizations, NPH employees who work in other countries, or family members of our yearlong volunteers. Some visitors stay for just a few days, whereas others may stay for several weeks. The Visitor Coordinator Assistant is responsible for planning visitors’ trips to the NPH Home, ensuring that all visitors follow and comply with NPH policies during their visit. He or she will meet the visitors at the airport (if necessary), accommodate them in the visitor house, provide tours of the NPH grounds and an orientation of the NPH programs, coordinate any volunteer work they will do during their visit, and, in general, be aware of their needs and any problems that may arise during their visit.

Position Requirements:
- Candidates with a background in administration, hospitality, and customer service are ideal for this position.
- Candidates for this position must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Successful volunteers at NPH have strong leadership skills, are resilient and flexible, and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Strong bilingual language skills in English and Spanish are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests Spanish language skills of candidates invited for an interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of Spanish will be required to attend immersion school prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
