Position Overview:
Sponsorship Assistant at NPH are responsible for managing our child sponsorship program, in which international donors support NPH’s mission through sponsorship. Sponsorship Assistants act as liaisons between the NPH service countries and the international fundraising offices which recruit sponsors, known as “godparents” in NPH. The main responsibilities of this position include updating sponsorship databases, taking photos and videos of beneficiaries, translating letters between sponsors and their “godchildren,” and sorting and organizing in-kind donations. The volunteer sponsorship assistant will work with a local employee, the sponsorship coordinator.

Position Requirements:
- Qualified candidates have professional or academic experience in administration or related fields.
- Strong candidates have superb writing skills and excellent digital competencies.
- Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are preferred for this position.
- Successful volunteers at NPH have strong leadership skills, are resilient and flexible, and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Strong bilingual language skills in English and Spanish are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests Spanish language skills of candidates invited for an interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of Spanish will be required to attend immersion school prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
