Position Overview:
The physical education teacher is responsible for teaching physical education and sports to primary and secondary school children at NPH. He or she plans and implements physical education activities, monitors students, and evaluates student outcomes. Their duties include planning and leading PE lessons, getting students to compete in sporting events and evaluating their performance. Everyone also manages the planning, organization, and evaluation processes of their pedagogical activities with a positive discipline in working with students and the teachers team.

Position Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have proven experience working as a physical education teacher or similar certificates.
- Qualified candidates must have pedagogical experience working with children and youth such as teaching, transmitting learning and management of different teams.
- Successful volunteers at NPH have strong leadership skills, are resilient and flexible, and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Intermediate Spanish language skills are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests Spanish language skills of candidates invited for an interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of Spanish will be required to attend immersion school prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
