Position Overview:
The music, dance and theater teachers at NPH educates students about the fundamental concepts of music theory such as rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo. They conduct exercises like vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments with the children and adolescents. Demonstrate how to perform dance moves, design dance pieces and performances. Keeps records of students’ performance and progress. Explaining body language and expression, engaging students in character development and personality projection, and helping each student develop a personal style. All NPH education personnel participate in meetings and support extracurricular activities. Everyone also manages the planning, organization, and evaluation processes of their pedagogical activities with a positive discipline in working with students and the teachers team.

Position Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have proven experience in dancing, music and / or theater well as a teaching certification.
- Qualified candidates must have pedagogical experience working with children and youth such as teaching, transmitting learning and management of different teams.
- Successful volunteers at NPH have strong leadership skills, are resilient and flexible, and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Intermediate Spanish language skills are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests Spanish language skills of candidates invited for an interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of Spanish will be required to attend immersion school prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
