Position Overview:
NPH relies on donations in order to do the work we do and achieve our mission. While we have fundraising offices around the world specifically dedicated to fundraising, we also have local fundraising offices in the nine different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean where we operate our residential care programs and community outreach services. The volunteer local fundraising assistant is responsible for recruiting and following up with private donors, companies, and foundations, with the objective of maintaining and expanding our local revenue. Local fundraising assistant manage donor databases, apply for grants, and in general supervise NPH branding and marketing. The volunteer local fundraising assistant works with a local employee who works as the coordinator of local fundraising.

Position Requirements:
- Qualified candidates have professional or academic experience in business administration, sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Successful volunteers at NPH have strong leadership skills, are resilient and flexible, and work well in teams.
Language Requirements:
Intermediate Spanish language skills are critical for success as a volunteer in this position with NPH. NPH tests Spanish language skills of candidates invited for an interview. Applicants who do not have an adequate level of Spanish will be required to attend immersion school prior to beginning service with NPH at their own expense.
Age Requirements:
NPH accepts volunteers at least 21 years of age or older.
