The day arrived. Early this morning, December 1st, the players from the seven countries gathered at NPH El Salvador. First came the official tournament photo.

Then came the opening parade. Each delegation, full of energy, shouted “Gooooal!” That shout echoed from across the Rio Grande in Mexico to beyond eastern Bolivia. It was a shout that traveled through all of Central America, reached the Caribbean, and continued into South America. A goal of hope for a group of more than 120 young people, all committed to building a better Latin American society.

Even “Messi” took part in the parade, adding a joyful touch. The players—both men and women—proudly wore the uniforms of their national teams.

After the opening ceremony, the first match began, and with it, the excitement.

Joy, anguish, tears, strength—everything unfolded on the field and was broadcast to the 21 countries where NPH is present, thanks to the magic of television and social media.

In every country, people followed each match, all experiencing the NPH spirit, this time reflected through the “One Goal for Peace” Cup.

These young players were accompanied minute by minute by a very enthusiastic group of sponsors, donors, friends, and NPH supporters who traveled to El Salvador from the United States, Spain, and Italy.

It was a first day filled with many goals, emotion, hope, competitive intensity, and the joy of youth—but above all, a day when the cry of “Goooooal!” was heard again and again.
