Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children, adolescents, and families in Latin America and the Caribbean, providing essential resources, education, and support to foster positive and lasting change.
Job Purpose:
The National Director will lead strategic planning and oversee social development programs and projects to improve the well-being of vulnerable populations in the assigned country. Responsibilities include budget execution, leadership of interdisciplinary teams, strategic partnerships, and legal representation of NPH.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the national strategic plan aligned with NPH’s international objectives.

Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and donors.

Mobilize resources and ensure efficient and transparent budget management.

Oversee implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and projects.

Promote NPH’s mission at forums, media, and events.

Ensure legal compliance and prepare internal and external reports.

Act as NPH’s legal representative before authorities and key partners.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in program or organizational leadership in the public or non-profit sector.

Experience in child protection, youth development, and family/community strengthening.

Knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and safeguarding policies.

Budget, audit, and donor funding management experience.

Outstanding communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, nonprofit administration, public administration, or business administration; master’s degree preferred.

Commitment to NPH’s values and philosophy; willingness to reside on-site and travel as needed.
