NPH International is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McCabe as its next Chief Executive Officer, beginning 6 July 2026.
As NPH continues its mission of supporting vulnerable children, families, and communities across Latin America and the Caribbean, Michael brings extensive leadership experience, a commitment to service, and a strong appreciation for the values that have guided the organization for more than 70 years.
Michael shares his personal and professional journey, reflects on the values that have shaped his career, and explains what inspired him to join NPH. He also expresses his excitement about working alongside staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters to advance the organization’s mission throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
For many members of the NPH family, this message will serve as a first introduction to Michael ahead of his official start date. Over the coming months, he will have opportunities to meet colleagues, supporters, volunteers, donors, board members, and community members throughout the NPH network.
Founded in 1954 by Father William B. Wasson, NPH works in nine countries across Latin America and the Caribbean and supports children, young people, and families through a wide range of residential, educational, healthcare, and community-based programmes. Today, the organization continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of vulnerable populations while remaining grounded in its core values of family, love, respect, responsibility, and faith.
As Michael prepares to assume leadership of NPH International, the organization looks forward to building on its strong foundations and continuing to create opportunities for children and families to thrive.
